About This Blog

525,600 Minutes.  How do you measure a year?

We've borrowed this question from the musical Rent to inspire our curiosity as we explore our world together as a family of four.  Marshall resigned from his corporate job in September 2013 to rebalance priorities.  Joining wife Shelly and boys Baxter (6) and Atticus (5), they will see how much they can absorb in their months-long adventure together.  Will it last a year?  Maybe longer.  Maybe shorter.  But it'll be measured in love.

This blog chronicles what we're experiencing in our journey.

If you're new to the blog, we recommend you start by reading our first post about why we're doing this: Sucking the Marrow.  Or if you'd rather dive right in to the adventure without the background, start with our most popular postNothing adVentured, Nothing Gained! Part 1. Or just dive in with our most recent post.

We welcome your comments and will attempt to reply to all.  Hope you enjoy joining us on this journey!
